I'm saving Pasteur's and all the wonderful NY Italian food for the meetup with @JACarbone and @Trigger. There are some good shave stores in the Old Country, though. There's even a nice selection of affordable transportation:
A friend of mine in San Diego had Bend on his list of possible future moves. After a lot of research, he said he probably wouldn't like it....too much land and not enough population, he felt. What was your impression?
could you name off all the MIA members here..i lack their handles..please wish them all a Happy New Year...
Very dry. Almost desert like, it seemed. 100,000 people or so. Very manicured- lots of water sports and man made stuff on the river in town. Quite clean and ‘upscale’ in general. Lots of stuff seemed to be quite new, fwiw. Reminded me of a similar sized city here in BC- Kelowna. Similar vibe.
Me too. I like to know where Clubman products are stored in large quantity....so I can map out appropriate detours. @Paul Turner has such a stockpile that I've crossed MA off the map.
Congrats Paul. I read the descriptions, and they both sound great. I look forward to your impressions. Happy New Year!
We had a ball in England, Gary. We hope to return to London for a few days. There's so much to see, and we barely scratched the surface. The people were incredibly friendly, and welcoming. Rumor has it that Fuller's is on tap in the pubs.
