Beautiful! Congrats! Comparing the scallops on the safety bar it appears a lot of material had to be removed. Curious to hear if you think it changed the shave. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
that's very cool.hard to polish without changing specs.i love how these modern razors still use the 1905-1929 blade holding design..
Ok wiseguy, knock a guy for trying to be helpful! It’d be a cold day in Hades before I ever used Clubman! I don’t mind their Lime Sec, but that’s it!
Awesome everything Charlie, that knot does look like a pillow for face lathering! Happy New Year to you & Kathy!
You can also pick up a 200ml of La Toja from Maggards for $13 whereas LEA Classic is $20 for 100ml. By the way, if you want to add some Irisch Moos aftershave to your collection, another vendor has it in stock now - The Razor Company. Smallflower still has it too and is where I bought my two bottles.
We'll find out in the morning. I traded a brush for his highly polished Rockwell 6s and it shaves identical to what mine did with Plate 5 so I'm hoping this is the same or better. It's possible it could have changed the gap slightly but doubtful it changed the blade exposure or bend in the blade enough to be noticeable ........................Now I won't sleep since you guys put that in my head
Thanks Joe. The cool thing about going to Taylor of Old Bond Street was getting to smell all their different offerings. We also visited Geo F. Trumper that day and had a blast. Sad story on the Ferrari. I fully intended to bring one home, but I was unfortunately traveling with carry-on luggage. TSA rules prohibited me - again - from pursuing another one of my lifelong dreams. It was fun seeing all the different cars on the road in Britain. Many of them I didn't recognize, and we saw our first McLaren at a stoplight next to us. Overall, it was just a fun place to visit. There's only four things that would bring me to NYC: Joe, Joe, NYC Italian food, and Pasteur's Pharmacy. Our meet up would tick all the boxes.
Thanks Andrew I know Gary and so does Alan as he used to polish high end watches in Austria. I think it was worth the risk besides as you see I have a backup H Plate
