Great first shaves of the year, Jeff! I used my Shake Sharp the other night for my dome shave. It truly amazes me how it is almost an error free shave everytime.
Thanks, Gary! Good morning.. Screw the light box, I need a chandelier! Great shave and pic, Jeff! Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
Wow...Great report, images and focus Joseph! Nice finish with the Eau Savage. Super setup for a rule Frank, great results out of the gate! Such popping colors with the red & black Jim! Love that brush! Fun black and white image with the green color isolation Pierpaolo! OTWE fantastic Paul! Great details with your process.
@Trigger @jgreenepa What exactly is needed to get a modern blade in one of these? What's involved or done? Thanks in advance.
I gifted my good friend, Joe his Shake Sharp last year, Dave. I recommend using stacked (2 blades) blades in my Shake Sharps. I own three! They are all great shavers! I was introduced to them by my friend, Jeff (@jmudrick), our resident razor historian. He’s a big fan as well! It’s one of my top head shavers.
Today's shave solidified Tobac as the shave soap for this month. The Fatboy did a great job on setting 9, which is where I usually keep it. I installed a fresh Nacet blade, which is my go to blade for DEs. The badger brush made an excellent lather that was perfect for the first shave of the year. It was all followed by Royal Copenhagen cologne, which is my wife's favorite. If I am home for the day, I usually will use it and save others for when I am out. The picture was taken in a bit of a rush, but there will be more during the month.
