Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream - Sandalwood
    Simpson Trafalgar T3 Synthetic
    G. Wostenholm - 11/16 Celebrated I-XL
    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Star Jelly
    paco rabanne pour homme

Wanted to use my PAA hot water scuttle, so pulled out a tried and true shaving cream that holds up under heat. ToBS and the Simpson brush didn't disappoint, mounds of smooth warm slick and thick lather for the duration of my routine. Super aroma for the shave from a sweet sided Sandalwood from ToBS. 3 passes with the Wostenholm, no issues, super smooth results, left but a small patch of sandpaper on the bottom of the chin. The 'Wosty' as some call them...is a little lighter than I'm used to, and I didn't quite get enough done for that area. No big distraction. Quick face slather of PAA's Star Jelly....little feedback, followed by a palm full of paco rabanne's pour homme. Smelling fine for a Tuesday!

Hope everyone has a great day!

  11. Vote posted to finish up shave gear which is partially used blades and excess soaps here. This month's soaps are some of Taconic pump soap samplers and a tub soap called Tokyo Rose made by PAA. It is a kokum butter soap and discontinued probably with good reason since it has a smell that can be described as drain cleaner like. I am also currently working a Schick twin injector blade which is now on 17 shaves.

  12. Thanks Paul. Technically it's the EdT, ever so faint lettering under the pour homme labeling. This is also @Primotenore enabled from back in early December, labeled the same as what I used yesterday, different bottle, labeling and box packaging though both bottles have the same raised glass lettering on the bottom, showing origin in France. I need to get a pipette or eye dropper to pull some from this bottle, see if color matches between the two.

    Thank you Matt!

  13. The Watch D.O.G.S. program really is a mentoring/buddy type program. Many elementary and middle schools enrolled throughout the US. Our elementary vice principal had 1/3 of the fathers (about 200 at one point) enrolled and active. 1-2 dads on campus every school day of the year. My 2 liked it so much I took the program to their middle school and ran it for their duration there, another 4 years. We averaged ~30 dads active. I tried taking it to their HS, met with Principals and Counselors, but there's been a program for a long time called 'Grateful Dads' which, to be honest, is a lot of fluff. It's standing at the entrance doors on a Friday morning, handing out candy.....

So, for HS, I've been volunteering for every band trip for my 2....it takes quite an entourage of parents (and an 18 wheeler, plus 2 box trucks) to move a 200+ person marching band to different venues.
