Thanks Joe. It was a pretty good shave. I'm always disappointed to see the red dots, though. A bit more focus (and a slightly smooth Feather blade edge) should seal the deal on my next shave.
No worries Dave! No judgements here on the 30dc (or really noticed at TSD ever), but we're pretty good with fun friendly 'ribbing comments. It's my first NB declaration....gotta admit it's still a thought process not to go searching things I see here, or go clicking on links in emails. I won't unsubscribe....that whole FOMO mindset. I'll be pretty happy if I end up overall with less shaving gear (hardware or software) than I started the year with, regardless of not succeeding with my NB. Software is an easy one to whittle down.....I'll just keep completely overloading the lather monster brushes so my bowl lathers are slinging and overflowing everyday.
Methinks it was more like 3 times if I was paying enough attention. All Scrat from the Ice Age movie franchise, but different. I went back in the '90s. Business trip, just had to since we were in the area. There long enough to get the cool T-Shirt for me and wifey, nothing more.
On my channel, there are plenty of students [mostly high schoolers)that subscribe to my channel. Today, one of the middle school students stopped me in the hallway and told me he liked my shaving channel and subscribed to it. I thanked him and explained that I am on a shaving forum and do it for you guys. He especially liked the Mad Max video. How cool is it to unintententionally introduce wetshaving to young people and get good feedback as well.
My apologies to all and particularly to @brit and @Dave in KY. I used poor judgement in a recent post. This is a great place with wonderful folks. Far be it from me to mess up a good thing. Pardon me while I remove my foot from my mouth. Carry on.
No difference in the tube creams between C/O Bigelow and the Proraso in the green containers. At one point in the not so distant past you couldn't get all these artisan soaps or foreign made brands that you could brush lather. It was all canned goo with the only option being C/O Bigelow cream which is an American brand or Williams Mug soap stateside if you wanted to wet shave traditionally.
