I decided to shave tonight because I am going into work tomorrow and needless to say why rush a shave.

Did my usual hot water face presoak with this soft badger brush and then hit the puck while keeping the excess water on the brush. Once again, the frothy/add only soap method gave me a slick, creamy lather. I usually use the most aggressive plate (#6), but I kept it at 5 just like the last shave with this razor. I come to realize that I have to adjust the razor to the beard growth. So it's plate #5 for beard growth under 36 hrs and plate #6 for beard growth beyond 36 hrs.
I just like this clovey Bay Rum scent. I only needed 2 passes to give me a wonderful BBS shave without any drama. I decided to only use the matching aftershave to make it a simple and easy shave. Have a nice evening guys!

I was going to use my 4 Gillettes throughout the week. I didn't think we had to use one razor for the whole week.

Another wonderful shave with lather masterfully produced via the technique and that awesome Jayaruh brush.

Thanks Joe! I took a smidgen longer to lather by adding a wee bit more soap. The lather really looked fantastic. The only time I will change this method is when I am using Cryogen using the dry brush method.

I think I'm going to get the Bill Neumann aftershave sample set flipped in for free with my order....I wonder how much clove their Bay Rum has, and is it neatly blended in with the other skin-healing ingredients.

All I can say is the first week back to work after vacation is very busy, as it is for everyone, and Tabac is very good soap. It's super slick and has a lot of cushion. The scent is unique and some days I like it better than others, but it always performs well.
