    Day 6 of my January Rule

    Tuxedo Synthetic brush
    Col. Conk Glycerin based Bay Rum Soap
    Gillette C1 Flair Tip
    Personna Blue (1)
    Proraso Green toning lotion w/menthol & eucalyptus

    Great shave. Another new blade.

    Fresh steel is the key. I totally chased comfort and accidentally found a really close finish. Normal 3.5 pattern, including ATG on the neck. Personna Blues are held in high esteem by many. In the past, I developed the opinion that they are best in the category of ‘one and done’. I still feel that way.

    The joy of learning to wetshave on a 30 day rule for me was the high success rate. I found it amazing how much ‘get a blade sampler pack’ advice is given to new shavers. I figure that will keep you searching for the ‘next big thing’ for quite some time.

    I usually like my fave soaps a little on the sloshy side. I’m finding I like the Col. almost ‘pastey’.

    Shave on, shave free.

    Thank you Joe. The test was administered by my school district (employer). The post test procedure is a phone call within a half hour if the test is positive. If the test is negative, an email will be sent. The email notification hopefully with arrive later this evening. At this point, no news must be good news.
