Another very good shave with the Z0 this morning. A great lather, 3 careful passes and I was quite smooth indeed. Got myself on the chin, but the weeper must have had a little Roberto Duran in it as it said ‘no mas’ before the splash even went on. A fave scent of course...a few tiers above yesterday’s English Leather, I suppose.:)
    Have a great day all!

Congrats, Andrew, on the incoming Simpson brush! Where did you find that great deal?

On the Semogue, you could sand off the paint and seal the handle with polyurethane. I bet it would look good.

At least now we know why @Trigger's brushes look moldy. You can tell Joe things, but you can't tell him much. As a chemistry teacher, I never thought he would deny capillary action AND surface tension. ;)

The light bulb just came on for me.

When I wash my hair, it dries while I stand up via a complex interaction of convection, evaporation, capillary action, and surface tension.

If you had hair, Joe, it becomes problematic finding a place to hang while your hair dries. I see now why you shave your dome.

That is awesome, Jim. Very, very happy for you. You have worked hard and you deserve it.
I had my kids too late to be able to retire super early, I think!

    Your NB, your rules. :)

I've never committed to a NB, but I've thinned down my various soaps and aftershaves over the years to a few I really like. I've also passed along quite a few razors and other things that weren't getting much use. I have stocked up on consumables, though, and don't get too tempted now when I see something new. I've even lined up someone to take all my stuff when I no longer need it. That works for me.

I put mine in the rotisserie on low heat for about 30 minutes. The continuous rotation keeps the knot in beautiful condition. :D
