That is fantastic Jim. I know you are happy seeing all your hard work pay off. You guys deserve the best and I know you are looking forward to the next chapter of your life.
Wonderful shave Gary. Looking good Myles. No need volunteering to get smoked. Trust me you'll get smoked enough without trying.
Thanks, Charlie. I bought the brush on Amazon. There is a seller that carries a decent selection of Simpson brushes and I've been keeping a watchful eye on price fluctuations. I snagged the Duke 2 Best Badger for $38.95. The seller is Alrossa. Both West Coast Shaving and Maggards sell the same brush for $92.50. I may end up doing just what you suggested for the Semogue brush. For now, the paint cracks give it character.
I would have hoped Semogue had it figured out by this point in their manufacturing timeline. Water seems to have gotten underneath the paint from the area of the metal ring.
I really shave my head because it hides the gray horseshoe and it makes me look more youthful. Also, I save money on going to the barbers every 3 months.
Fantastic Joe. I would be in so much trouble if SWBO saw all my stuff displayed in one place like that.
