    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower / Cussons Imperial Leather ~ Arctic Ocean & Icelandic Moss Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Yardley ~ English Lavender Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
    Brush: Omega 48.
    Face Lather.
Lather : Scottish Fine Shaving Soap.
Blade : Gillette ~ 'NOS 94' Super Silver Platinum. (1)
Razor: 1940's Thin Handle Gillette Flat Bottom Tech. (ENG)

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./Quorum ASL./Morrisons ~ Fresh Aloe Moisture Lotion.

    Greetings,

    (Vintage DE Week.)

Another new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

I haven't gave my vintage DE razors a run out for a while. Starting the weekend off in style with my 1940's flat bottom tech paired together with the Gillette NOS 94 blades which i have infrequently used made a smooth non-aggressive yet efficient, vintage duo.
A very comfortable shave 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable /near BBS shave with no errors to report...The vintage Gillette 'NOS 94' SSP blade performance was brilliant slicing through my stubble with effortless ease...Finishing the shave off with small dollop of Morrisons ~ Fresh Aloe Moisture Lotion.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

    Razor: Gillette Psycho Tech
    Blade: Wizamet (3)
    Brush: Sorrentino Clown Puke
    Soap: Clown Puke
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: Aqua Velva
    Fragrance: Nautica Blue
I decided to start my focus on these 50+ year old Gillette's a day early with my Psycho Tech and Original Key. I always get an irritation free shave from this but doesn't last as long before stubble reappears. I felt my Clown Puke Soap and Brush would compliment the razor well. For those that may ask a Clown Puke Soap is from mushing leftover samples or the last remains of a near gone puck of soap into a tub. Eventually you have a full tub of soap that actually can have an interesting scent that changes as you go thru the tub. It also tends to be one of your better soaps as it can enhance the best characteristics of each of the soaps you put into it working together. Depending on the array of colors of the soap you add it can look like it's name too. The brush got the name as it was the first time Eric Sorrentino poured his own blanks to turn for 3 winners of a drawing in another neighborhood. This was a blank that was made from the remains of each of those 3 that were poured into a mold and turned it into this handle by Eric and I received from him. Topped off with some vintage Aqua Velva and Blue from Nautica. Have a delightful day guys !!

    Barbasol Original Shaving Cream
    Burma Shave Boar
    Gold Dollar 280
    CWR
    Barbasol AS

The Barbasol Original Shaving Cream was applied with the Burma Shave Boar. One pass and touch ups with the Gold Dollar 280 gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The 2 dot ENDGEM SPEED is a touch more aggressive than the 1dot, but still gave a super smooth shave.
I'm a big fan of 'scraping toast' audio from a razor. This didn't disappoint.

I'm also waiting for a ceramic relish bowl for this soap, thanks to the enablers.

    Have a great day all!

Three days growth, three passes and smooth as silk. Shaves as good as many of my top tier shavers. And that’s saying something from a razor that cost me $65. Definitely worthy of staying in the shave rotation and would recommend to anyone looking for a budget priced SE razor that actually performs better than one should have expected (well, at least what I would have expected). Kudos to Leaf. A great day and shaves to all....

    Razor: Yates 921-H
    Blade: Feather NHS (1)
    Brush: Grizzly Bay WarForge
    Pre-shave: PAA Cube
    Soap: PAA Sangre de Drago
    PAA Galactic Witch Hazel
    PAA Star Jelly
    AS: PAA Sangre de Drago

    Good morning!

First use of the Yates H plate. I did my usual three passes and was rewarded with a terrific near BBS shave. Only my first shave with the H plate so I don't want to draw any final conclusions but I don't know that I really notice much difference from the M plate. More shaves necessary.

    Have a great day!
