    January Rule Shave # 3

    A nice two+ pass evening shave on two days of growth with near-BBS results. I focused more on my chin with shorter, straight strokes, and it paid off. I also turned off the water (not something I usually do), and it was helpful to hear the blade slicing the hairs. The sound seems to help indicate proper blade angle. No Aramis and only one splash of AS since I'll hit the sack soon. I'm happy, smooth, and smelly.

    Thanks Dave. I've been a daily morning shaver up until the lock down. I will eventually return to that routine. I like to look dashing, filled with vim and vigor, when I meet the public. :cool:

    SATURDAY JANUARY 9th SHAVE

    I was more in the mood for a menthol shave today even though it was quite cold down here in Georgia. That running wasn't particularly fun today in that early morning chill (sorta) nether or less I grinded through the suck and now it's done, pt scores are looking much better now. So you may be wondering based off the picture why I have the modern Aqua velva out and the vintage also. Personally as much as I enjoy the vintage, the muskiness can be a little bit over bearing and mixing it with the modern Aqua Velva, balances the scent of the two out nicely. also the vintage alone sorta reminds me of mothballs yet somehow it's pleasant. Yes I know that doesn't seem to make much sense. anyway here is the shave for y'all. Hope everyone had a great Saturday! IMG_20210109_220626.jpg
