  3. Terrific shave, pic and gear Clint. The Enoch SE seems to be a light razor.

  4. Thanks Gary! It was nice to do an old-time traditional Gillette shave.

  8. Not that far at all! I could probably handle a TR6 trip out your way once everyone’s at herd immunity! :)

  9. When I used the LEA Classic soap for the first time, with it being a triple milled soap, I didn't know how much soap would be picked up so I went with 60 second loading. It worked out well.
Now, with the Electric Sheep focus this month, 60 seconds is overkill but it's helping the soap reach the end faster.
    Excellent shave, Clint!
  10. Great shave, Bill! Enjoy your Sunday. :)

  13. I forgot to say the one I tested was a 6 blade job. I was surprised how well it shaved an you don’t have to mush in so much.

My best wishes to you as you head off for service.

  16. Sunday's Shave

'52 Gillette Black Tip Super Speed (X2)
    Gillette 7OC SharpEdge (yellow) (1)
    Omega 10066 Boar
    Stirling Electric Sheep Shaving Soap
    T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Stirling Sharp Dressed Man Aftershave
    Stirling Sharp Dressed Man EdT

Day 10 with the Electric Sheep, Single Soap Focus (SSF).
After 7 days of using a '54 Gillette Flare Tip, I switched today to a '52 Black Tip. To me, there is not really any noticeable difference between the shaving characteristics (or results).
2+ passes resulted in a comfortable and efficient shave this morning with no irritation or mishaps. After a healthy dose of the Stirling SDM aftershave, I finished with a few spritzes of the matching EdT. Yes, I would be quickly noticed walking into a room full of blind people today.

  17. Thanks, Gary! With all the great photo ideas around here it’s fun to experiment between naps! ;)

  18. Nice Sunday shave, Clint! How do you like the Enoch compared the Cobra, which by the way, I’d be glad to take off your hands if you ever tire of it. I’ve yet to hear anyone really enthusiastic about the Enoch! :)

  19. Thank you Myles.

    Thank you Gary.

Thank you Joe. The Enoch is a little heavier than vintage Gillette razors but lighter than most modern 3 piece razors.

Thank you Andrew. The LEA is so easy to load and lather that I am afraid I have been under loading and cheating myself of such a wonderful lather.

  20. I like the Enoch. I would say it is less aggressive than the Cobra. The Cobra wins hands down on the coolness factor alone. My only complaint with the Enoch is the blade loading process is more finicky than it needs to be.
