  2. Thank you, Jeff. I really don't feel that much difference between the two razors; maybe slightly more blade exposure with the Red Tip. I shave efficiently with both razors fortunately. ;)

Thank you, Gary. I don't really know. Would a magnet test provide the answer?

  8. Just tested it. The magnet sticks strong to the handle and also the baseplate. There is only a slight reaction to the doors and the center bar.
  9. Thank you Dave :).

  12. Sneak peak at tomorrow's shave. Given to me by my stepfather and was a gift to him on his 21st birthday while in the Air Force and stationed in England back in 1960. It had everything in pristine condition except the razor which I hope I found the period correct one for it. I know Gillette had their razors added to tons of these sets that were sold back then in England.

  13. I strayed from the one razor rule since my Canadian Type E3 injector arrived yesterday. I might also join in on the Gary Gillette mini focus next week.

  16. Yeah it really is a good looker, Type E equivalent of the Schick 66 Type G looks wise. Shaves much better though.

Next up a 46 - ?? Ranger Tech and a 40s style Super Speed. There are a total of 3 versions of the 40s style super speed. This one is the very first version aka the equivalent of a baseball rookie card for a Super Speed produced from Nov. 1947 until Jan. and maybe as late as Feb. of 48.
