January 11th Menthol Monday Razor: Rex Ambassador Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (1) Brush: MrEE #10 SS & AS: Stirling MITA Trying to do a little reading today. I'm not really a fan of drive-by posts. I'd prefer to read some too. Lots of favorites for today's shave. MITA was one of my first Stirling soaps. The bottom of the jar is showing through so I may have to focus on it so I can justify buying more. MITA is one of the few soaps my wife always comments on when I use it. She likes it as well. The Omega clone handle has a 26mm 70/30 hybrid knot. It loads fast and face lathers well with plenty of backbone. It's another one of my brushes that can't be dropped. It will crack the sink. As for the Rex, well it's a great shaver. Set on 2.5 the Rex gave me a BBS shave in just 2 passes. If anything I was a little close on my chin. The alum was a little warm but seemed to soothe well enough that I just moved on. Everything feels wonderful now. I'm hoping I can shape my first LE brush tonight. The programming is complete. I just have to put the aluminum in the spindle and press go... and hope it doesn't crash. I want to swap a piece of stock and walk away and return to a 90% complete brush... I'm doubtful that will happen. I'm use to seeing sparks when I walk away.
The FuzzTech has made it back home after visiting with Fuzzy for a while. Thanks Fuzzy @wchnu for featuring the FuzzTech in your videos. The FuzzTech has got a big head now and is demanding his own shelf. Take care Fuzzy.
