    Yes, I had a tuck of Sputniks. Very nice blades. Another of the many St Petes Gillettes that I use everyday and love. I have AstraSPs, GSBs, Polsilvers, Nacets and PermaSharps in bulk. I'm good for at least 8-9 years, but still add to the pile when I see a reason to.

    good morning gents..friday it is..french transition tech today with a fresh nacet,thin french solid handle..very nimble in the hand..from around 1961,this razor has the later zamek cap but still retains the post war baseplate,the newer style baseplate came a year or so later.solid shaver with little difference to the 1950s version.

    fine crown shaving co spearmint lather built by the razo-rock chrome silvertip synthetic.pulled off a bbs in 3 smooth passes with my usual NS/SN/ATG-BUFFING procedure..finished up with the crown aftershave..awesome..

    It was awesome to see a whole bunch of new Gillette razors here this week..thank you to all who joined in with the Gillette mini focus..will continue on for me as always..maybe some schicks for me next month,or a cooper,valet,or a bunch of all..have a fine friday everyone..:cool:..:eatdrink047:

    Thanks, Blair; I appreciate the IT tips. My engineering degree was in Operations Research. I remember how my professors in grad school would reference certain OR algorithms which we didn’t have sufficient computer power to optimize (this was in the early to mid 70s). Just a few years later in the late eighties Ben was using those algorithms on Sun Workstations in college. I’m an old mainframe/mini guy.
