January 16th Razor: Gillette British Gen 1 Aristocrat Blade: Voskhod Brush: MrEE LE #-1 SS: Stirling Executive AS: Florida Water Got out into the shop and cut the outside profile for 4 brushes this morning. It went well after I gave up on probing for tool position and just made a reference cut, measured and adjusted. Now I can just swap out blanks and let it run. The shave was awesome! Still love these OC TTO razors. 2+ passes to near BBS. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Thank you, Andrew! If you decide you enjoy warm bowl lathers I have a spare scuttle. The handles are looking awesome! Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
Hmmm...Terre d’Hermes? Available through a Canadian Fragrance vendor. With shipping about $10 less than a Karve....
Oh yeah....y'all boys know this was a good one! Late shave today due to chores but is was a great shave. I loaded a Feather in the Razorock Jaws that had five previous shaves under its belt and added the Weber bulldog handle. The Simpson T3 Trafalgar whipped up some amazing lather. In case you haven't heard....it's Tabac....a tub of good old German goodness. Three passes for a smooth shave that is about as smooth as a catfish belly. Alum was a touch warm in a few places. No aftershave....I want to let the Tabac linger for as long as possible. I am really enjoying the Tabac and I see it becoming a permanent part of the den. Take care gentlemen and hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Wishing you a wonderful retirement. They should do you like they do a lot of teachers in our area when they get ready to retire. About two years before they retire they give them a Principle position so they will draw more benefits and money when they do retire.
I feel the same way, as you know. You guys will get stuff from me, regardless. I won’t be surprised by Tabac...great lather. At least you didn’t say I would have to use the Splash. Being banned from home and office would be tough. I think you’ve already started...I might have to up my game.
I don't know the Alabama requirements for being an administrator, but in NY, you need a postgraduate degree or an EdD to become one. You need an administrator's certificate as well.
2 AWESOME shaves with beautiful razors, especially that Gillette. Man I love them and so does anyone selling them unfortunately........ NOT THAT I'M LOOKING !!!!!!!!!!
