Reshave to confirm if this was or wasn't the same as the first iteration of the 40s style super speed. Answer is no and I screwed up on my initial impressions. It is a very close shave but no BBS cigar for under the chin. It would probably get someone with finer hair across that line though.

very cool Mike..rothbart,minora ,nacet,7 oclock were all companies purchased by gillette in england/europe during the 20's to 30s..

Thanks Gary. I've owned it for a couple years & never really knew why it had no gillette markings til I recently saw one packaged as Rotbart. A mild but very nice shaver.
