    Fantastic shave, pic and gear Dave! I also have the G E Jones ShakeSharp razor that was gifted to me by @jgreenepa Jeff. I concur it is a great razor and the beauty of it is that it is unique. I rarely use it on my faceshaves, but it is great for headshaves. It is almost impossible to nick yourself with this razor. If you decide to headshave, then you will appreciate this razor even more than you presently do. Have a great day!

    I would say that gifting would not break the contract because cash or other considerations were not exchanged by the giftee.

    As I've remarked in the past, the other issue is that since it is described as more like the Clubman Vanilla scent, shouldn't that be the actual title, not simply Clubman?

    I read an advertisement on straights where it was stated that a single straight could go a year on daily use before a touch up was required.....
    ........ uh, yeah, oh sure man, sure.

    Not much to comment on this morning! The Colonial Silversmith is an excellent DE safety razor, and always delivers a first rate dome shave, as it did this morning. The accompanying mug shave was every bit as good. The Dubl Duck Goldedge 11/16 delivered its usual smooth three pass shave, and left me refreshed, clean and velveteen smooth!

    RAZOR: Dubl Duck 11/16 (Mug), Colonial Silversmith (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather DE
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: JR Custom Rosewood Silvertip Badger #378
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Williams Aqua Velva ( Spanish Version)
