Thanks Clint! Feather blades are very sharp, but if you respect the blade and have great technique then it should not be a problem. I have 4 more blades and will use some of them in my DE razors to complete my experience with them. I might use a Feather in my VDH razor because it is the least aggressive in my den to see how it feels. Of course, I will be placing another Feather blade in one of my Fatboys and my Model T.
I mighta gone with Kentsylvania for 20, but.......you're the contestant. (Every time game show hosts suggest what a contestant SHOULD HAVE chosen, I felt like yelling "There goes the Freedom Of Choice neighborhood, BUDDEH!"
Have you ever tried the Dovo long blades? I never have liked them myself. Prefer the regular DE blade.
I never think I smell like that when I use Clubman....for me, it's always "This is how it was men were men and women loved'em for it".
. I decided the scent power of Edge knocks out that of whatever aftershave I choose. I kinda thought it was the other way around.
You're not kidding. The ladies in this house are not at all fond of what many would consider barbershop type scents. Any powder like scent projection and they will lower the boom on you. As Maya said, "No Old Man Scents" .
Yes I have Fuzzy! They are definitely sharp. Unfortunately, they are no longer being made and those that have them charge an arm and a leg to get them. I use the Personna Hairshaper blades that are a longer than the Dovo blades and they are my favorite blades for the shavette. I know Fromm Hairshaper blades are compatible, but I have heard they are not as sharp as the Personnas.
Learn something new everyday. Did not know they stopped making them. Oh well it is easy to get those two sided thingies to break in half.
Well, I must say it did get the job done, but I'm a foam man(when I don't do a wet shave). That is some THICK gel(Edge).
It was an excellent one for sure. After having pif'd my Pharaoh's Dreamsicle this past summer and my daughter recently claiming the tub of Orange Chill, now that I've finished Electric Sheep, I have no more Stirling soaps in my collection.
i have some theories.. but seriously.it may contain aftershave properties as well as propane and other stuff so one doesn't need to use an aftershave..
The ladies will be in my life longer than that. As they say, I don't act like a 50 year old so why would I want to smell like someone much older.
