Beautiful job, Danny! Did you use any Flitz, or was it just Dawn, elbow grease and ultrasonic cleaning?
I took a chance to speak to him like a grandfather. Every guy has had their heart broken. I hold the record and I am in the Guiness Book of Records. Seriously, Myles is a mature 18 yr old man, but with all young men, they don't see far ahead because they live in the moment. He is about to have a life changing moment on July 26. He doesn't need another to coincide with it. I would hope that he would speak to his dad about it.
Thanks Jason....lot of greats were made in the 30s but I never thought about it till you mentioned it. Take care.
Give it a shot. I would go with the white paste. I think it is less abrasive. The drill will work. It would be nice if you could mount the drill stationary. Do you have a drill press?
I edited my post to include the back side of the packaging. It says what metals work with each polishing compound. Everything in my tool collection falls into the hand tool category (except for a table saw). I'll figure out something that will work. Or...I may take a trip down to Harbor Freight.
Time heals all wounds. But when we are young we can't see that. There's alot to be said for experience
The small bench grinders are not that expensive and would make it a lot easier. I have also used this set up on stainless steel. Take care and every man needs an excuse to go to Harbor Freight.
Well it looks like Brut for the win tonight. Dug out the 1914 with a fresh blade , vintage Williams and the Omega boar. Nice close shave !
