  3. Ok guys! I am glad that I am not in the NB 21 group.
I just put an order for a new custom razor from Yuri Kravchenko of ArtRazor.

    Model: AR1000

    Width: 13/8

    Length : 3 inches

    Grind: Half Hollow

    Point: Square (unmuted)

    Scales: Dark Blue Kirinite

It will be a few months until I get it.
  4. Those are nice snurdles!
  5. Nice New SC shave, Andrew! Glad it went well!

  7. I have never seen nor heard of anything like any of those before, Dave. Those Flippers are exceptionally cool.
When you said 'elongated pennies' at first, my mind went to the ones we used to put on railway tracks as young kids...
  8. Congratulations, Joe! You do like those blue scales! I’m sure you’ll enjoy the new shave hatchet! Kravchenko’s oversized blades tend to be shorter than Sprecher’s, at least Ben’s Artrazor blade length was. I’ll look forward to your shave reports on it!
  9. Thank you Dave.

  10. Thanks Jim! I would have gone for another Sprecher, but he only goes to 10/8. This new custom razor is considerably less than Mad Max, but still expensive. Of course, I can't knock free shipping coming from the Ukraine.
  11. Thank you Patrick. You should give the Speick a try.

  12. Thanks Jeff. The Art Razor 1000 has a straight spine and very little smile at the heel. If you looked at my specs, the edge will be 3 inches so it will not be snubby.
  13. I just got in a puck of that Haslinger Schafmilch Lanolin soap as well, Andrew. Glad to see another excellent review of it. You'd like to find a wooden soap bowl? Hmm....
  14. Forgot to add mirror finish

  19. Congrats, Joe. Very cool.
13/8 with an unmuted point? Yeesh...that things a cleaver.
  20. Similar principal but I think the guy has a machine he makes stamps for and turns the Burma Shave slogans from the past and others.
