Thanks, I could try either idea. But...some thoughts. The puck is pretty hard and isn't very "mushable." Grating it into the glass container wouldn't change the clanking problem. If grated into a wide wooden bowl, the resulting puck would be pretty thin. Finally, I just want a smaller wooden bowl and not have to alter the hard puck.

Valid points, I put mine in a 4 oz (The Smaller) Stirling tub for a few bucks
