  6. Seiko bracelets = BBS wrists :)

    Actually Seiko bracelets in that price range have a tendency to get more rattly and comfortable with time. You also have a ton of third-party bracelet and strap options that would look cool on that watch.

    There's a thing called "bracelet stretch" that happens over time. The oils on your skin combine with dust and dirt to form an abrasive paste that accumulates between the bracelet links. Over time, this causes the bracelet to get looser...making it look like it has stretched. Watch nuts will often remove their watch bracelets and clean them in an ultrasonic cleaner to keep the links tight. I bought a Seiko is the early 80s, and the bracelet is just about worn out because I didn't keep it clean. It's mighty comfortable, though. After I had the watch for many years, Kathy took the bracelet to work and dropped it in their ultrasonic cleaner. My DNA muddied the water, but the bracelet sparkled. :)
