This morning there was a nice little mist and I wouldn't have minded a great coffee and a fragrant croissant. Too bad you can't find them here and then... having them on the sidewalk like a homeless, as required by anti-Covid regulations (not to be a homeless, but not to get into the coffee shop!) would have spoiled the experience.

I had shaved with an excellently performing soap with a non-existent scent, a brush that would lather up gravel and a super mild razor.

I could want more, but life has taught me to be content (although I do lively dispute the etymology of the word!).

Great shave and great beard, sir!

Superb performance from DG as usual. The scent is smoky and complex, but not overpowering. I'll need to use it more to get a good understanding of the notes, but after the smoke I get some woodsy or amberlike elements. I am not good at picking these out. Overall I enjoy the scent.

The Proraso Red Shaving Soap was applied with the Jayaruh 30RS silver tip brush. One pass and touch ups with the King Cobra with a Feather AC Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Vanilla X 3 is one of the most wonderful soaps I ever used in my entire life - only Jaco can create a masterpiece like this. I’m not a fan of vanilla scents but this is an exception because it smells so manly, the lather is so thick, rich, slick as well as killer cold, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The Prep and Krampert’s Frostbite aftershave don’t need any explanations - both of them are awesome. The Astra Green blade has gotten a bit duller but it’s still performing great - today’s shave was easy peasy and super duper!
