  3. Actually......we did. A bit quietly, see below.

I think neither Jason nor I are going to fall off the wagon, per se.....so maybe it ends as a trade. I'd love to have more of Jason's work, I have two of his handles. One as the '19 30DC offering (bought from the batch Neil had at the '19 meet up), and Jason's Blue Resin Maple example I show often. Jason has politely declined anything in return, which I feel slightly lopsided. WRT the NB '21, I mentioned a RRM (red resin maple) brush handle and a bowl earlier this month, and Jason said Terre D'Hermes as his choice.

  6. Lovely shaves Jeff and a beautiful picture. The handle on the General is the best looking handle on a safety razor. Take care.

  7. Great shave Evan and good to hear from you. Looking forward to seeing the brush handles as they progress through the shop. Take care.

  8. With regards to restoring the W&B 7/8 Celebrated, pretty sure I have everything, but may need the ball peen hammer and pin setting tool. Have the razor, very deteriorated scales, blade needs a good buffing and bevel reset. Purchased a bench grinder/buffer last year. For scales, I have two options already purchased, and a brass pin setup (with extras).

Replacing the PAA CK6 and AS & C, Gondolier, I was thinking it's a no go personally. I have TONS of soap & aftershave, so why would I be allowed to replace something I ran out of, when I had years' worth of other options already.

Kind of torn on the Barbasol FH....it's something I already have, just want to make it prettier. But I can wait. :angry032: :D

  10. Man these guys with Light boxes are killing it with the pictures. Off the charts. Have a great day Blair !
The picture was not for provenance but one for me to indicate perhaps mine was from early 1900's after all. Nothing I shared was to give dating for mine. Simply to show when they started making them was all. :happy088: Doesn't really matter to me when it was (late 1800's or early 1900's) It's older than me :D

  20. Thanks Dave! Just a little info...no light box used for that image. Hardly ever use mine anymore, except for product videos. Today’s image is in my shop though, work tabletop brightly lit with 3 dimmer controlled LED 4’ shop lights. Captured with my iPhone. Backdrop is a black golf/polo style shirt that I don’t wear, it’s itchy scratchy.

and...b1hart=Blair. No worries, I do the same from time to time.
