  1. It is just a gorgeous handle. Modern with a vintage vibe.

  4. I did a quick 3 pass shave shave tonight, didn't get a BBS shave yesterday like normal so It grew back pretty quickly. Decided to dial it down to setting 4 on the fat boy when shaving around the cheeks. When I got around the neck area I dropped it down to setting 3. The overall shave was better than last time however I just don't feel the blade like I should so I end up having to add pressure. The problem is if I add too much pressure I'll cut myself. Neither or less the shave was good, I have no problems with the fat boy, I just find Voskhod blades are way to mild for this razor, I'll be looking for some other blade online. I have a few loose Astra Green blades laying around, maybe I'll try that blade in the fat boy next shave. Had church today after that had to drop one of my best friends off at the recruiting office, managed to spend a few minutes with him while he had his briefing before he shipped off to Paris Island for basic training . I'll be wishing him the best luck as these next three months are gonna be hell but I believe he will make it through. IMG_20210124_194233.jpg

  8. I say crank er up on the dial and you'll feel that Russian steel Myles. Those are good blades . Let that razor just glide without "pressure ". Try not to get heavy handed and you will do fine . Hope that helps .

  13. Nice shave, Myles.
My advice would be to do either a rule or a focus with your Fatboy. Pick a setting and leave it. Light touch and skin stretching. Eventually your technique will get to the point the settings on the razor will no longer matter and the blade selection will make very little difference as well.

    Good luck!
