Old Wosty Washington Works frameback, when I got it, it was fugly and chipped, now it’s just homely and in need of a little more TLC. But boy does it shave! Cream was SMN lathered with a Keyhole 3, AS was Myrsol AB. And I am BDBS.

Swedish blade, seen with Engstrom as a maker on other blades. Also seen Red Devil on either the tang or scales... so this is my take on that theme. :)

    E. A. Berg frameback, soap was MdC rose lathered with a Keyhole 4, and a splash of Harris Pink finished up a perfect shave. This razor is a likely candidate for a swap to ivory scales; no discernable hone wear and the blade graphics are as new.

Been looking for a good vetiver soap for awhile. So far scent wise I'd have to give it to MdC love the scent but not real wild about the soap. I like my vetiver pretty straight but Salters Vetiver is too much for me.

According to Arne at B&B, this is a pre-production model of the CVH M. K. 133 in ivory, no model name or number is stamped in it. This is a full hollow 7/8 singing blade. Soap and AS was TSD Blood on Steel 2019. Shave was exactly what you’d expect of a full hollow CVH, BDBS!

Thank you Jeff. That blade has a little of your SK3 feel to it.
Beautiful lines on that Manhattan Cutlery, and those scales look in great shape. :eatdrink047:

I've had that experience, where for whatever reason I can't get the shave smooth no matter how much I hone. What solved it for me, and really worked miracles, was going to my balsa strop and doing a couple hundred laps in the green paste and the red paste. The pastes are 0.3 micron chromium oxide (green) and 0.1 micron iron oxide (red). I did soemthing like 100 laps each, although I may have lost count at some point. Anyhow, much more than my regular amount of laps. That totally brought my monkey-tailed Wosty back to life. I figured I was going to have to send it out. YMMV but pasted stropping wears your razor out much less than honing, and it did work for me.
