I didn't want to wait for tomorrow because there is a good chance that I will be called in tomorrow. Since last month I have subbed for 4 teachers who were quarantined. I have already worked 14 days this month with 2 days off excluding MLKJr day. I am not complaining by any means. I believe in taking the work when offered, unless I have some important appointment.
Ok, let me talk about tonight's shave.
Now that my Bay Rum soap is kaput, I decided to go with Glastonbury. I figured the JR 386 brush would be a good fit to keep the Brit theme intact. Well, I should have used my Parker shavette to really keep it intact. Lol! The JR #386 is my top gun and it really is quite soft. It whipped up a creamy, slick snd hydrated lather. The scent was becoming more pronounced as I was loading the brush, but died down as I was shavimg. Since I only had 24 hours growth, I only needed one pass to get me BBS -. However, I did 2 passes and minor touchup to be a tad under full BBS. Realistically, it was BBS, but I felt some invisible stubble ATG on a tiny patch below my right jawline. Happy to state that there were no wounds nor irritation.
My post shave felt great!
The Dickenson's witch hazel perked up my skin. I have to say that the initial medicine like scent is a little off-putting, but I don't mind using it. Mmm! Isn't this supposed to be unscented? The Nivea aftershave balm was quite soothing as my skin soaked it all in like a sponge.
Finally, the pièce de résistance was applying the matching aftershave. It smelled nice, but it did give me a little burn. Have a nice evenimg guys!
