Have you ever gone to the supermarket and bought everything but what you went there for?
Not me, of course!
Just to know...

Today, sick and tired of blinding sunshine, I picked up the first soap that came my way: it's good, no doubt, but the scent....
But it vanishe immediately and I could dunhillate my face!

The blade does its job, but I'm still not convinced: thank goodness it's not a salesman!

RAZOR: C-Mon Special 11/16 (Mug), Shake Sharp Model 1.5 Safety Razor (Dome)
BLADE: 2 Stacked Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: MrEE Aluminum Monster Tuxedo Synth
CREAM/CROAP: A&E Shaving Butter
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with A&E Post-Shave Serum.

I’m really impressed with the Schapenmelk soap! Wow very slick and mounds of sheen lather!

Thursday morning - almost a Grand Freeze:

L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash

Folsom & Company Black Powder AS Splash

This Polar Vortex soap is made here in Canada and very aptly named because it gives a helluva strong menthol sensation - not quite as intense as a Stirling Glacial soap or the Kameelperd’s Kick but still very potent. The scent is nothing to write home about - it’s basically just menthol with soapy notes and a bit of lemon. It lathers great - really thick, rich, as well as slick and the tallow in it helps to give good blade glide along with a nice postshave feeling. The Prep is my favourite balm, and the Black Powder aftershave not only smells beautiful, it has a terrific menthol punch. Three passes gave me a wonderful BBS shave that I really enjoyed!
