@Dave in KY ....your shave has inspired me to break out this Russian weapon again. The QC dept was (I'm assuming) consuming large quantities of vodka that day and it slipped through the cracks . But it came free with my order so I had to try it . Someone else in here has one also and has dared to use it . Stay tuned .....
You’ve got my interest! I’ll get both razors in the mail to you tomorrow by Priority. That’s the only sure fire way of knowing it’ll get there relatively quickly.
Thanks Charlie! It is unfortunate that today's parents get their nose out of joint over stupid nonsense. Yes, I know that my actions and words must be above reproach in a classroom and I do it everytime that I am with the kids. I have a very good rep as a sub and the kids enjoy me and I them. I have worked 17 out of the 19 possible days this month at the middle school so I can't be that bad. Lol! Again, thank you for your support.
Awesome shave Bill! That's great you are doing a wonderful job honing your razors with the Jarrod Plate!
Inspired by @Dave in KY I had to break out the Russian Rapira face scraper . As you can see the QC dept was busy that day but it was free with a shipment of Russian blades and no complaints here . It does get you smooth and I owe that to proper technique. Enough said . The MWF is another nemesis of mine and the lather got better again tonight. Not perfect but gave me good results. After removing the top layer of skin I splashed the Dickinson's witch hazel all over the skin then braced myself for the Brut. Surprisingly there was no burn like the last episode with this razor. I would give this a 9 out of 10.
Well, as you know, some parents hate teachers because they think it doesn't take much talent or brains to run a classroom full of immature people and being off the summer. Morever, they think teachers should be paid 1/2 the going rate. Meanwhile, they don't consider that we stay after school to give extra help, make plans, create and grade tests, manufacture powerpoints and most of all calling parents about their "wonderful" child's disruptive behavior. Yeah! Teacher's have an easy job. I just wish some of these parents were allowed to substitute for one day and see how they like it. I would surmise and hope that their attitude would change toward teachers. Yes, I believe in miracles!
