When I want an erudite and reliable review of a fragrance, I have been, of late, searching out this fellow on basenotes. We have had a few pm correspondences and he is quite friendly and approachable. I would register on basenotes and refer to the very many reviews. Compared to Fragrantica, to which I also belong, the reviewers on basenotes "seem" to be more collectors and aficionados. That's just my opinion, of course. Peruse this:
