Nice shave Joe! You will dial it in very quickly because you are an experienced straight shaver. I grant you it does feel different than shaving with a straight razor. As you may well know, be mindful of the two open points of the blade because they will bite if you land or shave with the razor on an uneven plane. It really is an easy shavette to use because the geometry sets the shave angle.

Joseph's is like Barney Fife.
