  1. Thanks, Joseph! I don’t like to leave anything unfinished! I’m glad I came up with the workaround! I do enjoy my straight shaves! My doc tells me that eventually the weakness which is part and parcel of this disease will put an end to straight shaving, and most other activities. We’ll see!
  2. Beautiful shave Myles

  5. Thanks, Clint! I’m just glad I can straight shave my mug every day! Waking up every day ready for fun and frolic is what it’s all about for me!

  6. Thank you Joe. I believe it was one of the points on the razor that led to weeper. No big deal. Everything else about the shave was flawless.

  10. @Edison Carter
Let’s not forget our quotations from Chairman Keithmax

As written in the book of Keith.....

    1) If a spouse or child or pet may burst into your shave den mid shave then put down the straight and pick up a safety razor.

    2) If you are in a hurry or a rush or late then put down the straight and pick up a safety razor.

    3) If you are not focused or just don't 'feel it' then put down the straight and pick up a safety razor.

    4) If the razor is tugging for pulling or does not feel sharp then put down the straight and pick up a safety razor.

  17. Great shave, Charlie! Say what you will, MWF, Nancy Boy, and A&E Shaving butter are all anti- hemorrhagic. Being irrational and from Philly, I would definitely attribute the cut to Tabac abuse! :taunt002:

  18. Lol! Thanks Jeff! I am planning on doing an Arko/Tabac and Pinaud Classic/Veg shave this year. I will do 2 passes. Arko on one side and Tabac on the other and switch them to the opposite side on the second pass. The aftershaves would be applied just like the soaps. I promise that it will happen this year!

  19. Thanks, Joe!! It’s my strict avoidance of “Tabac Stink” that gives me the courage to carry on every day, Charlie (@wristwatchb) :p
  20. The Nodachi is much more aggressive. I can get a great shave with the razor but I don’t enjoy it.
