Thank you guys. I feel I am doing the right thing and taking the right steps. I guess I could go ahead and get a CAT Scan of my head now but my initial thoughts and those of my doctor were to wait for the Neurologist to do the tests he thinks are most beneficial.

Agreed, Joseph, but my training was in mathematical statistics and applied probability, and it tends to affect the way I look at things. From a risk mgmt and applied probability perspective I’d always bet on the open edge with no guard being the riskier (ie more aggressive). I agree that experienced straight shavers rarely cut themselves under normal circumstances, but there’s always Mr. Murphy lurking out there.
