I feel like I've heard that before but I can't recall. Sort of reminds me of the beach boys, even though they are pretty different.

Well the recruiters threw me in as Guide now (My military guys know what I am talking about) really don't know why. My only explanation is, they are trying to break me down. We really got our butts handed to us today at pt today because I have no Idea what the hell the responsibility and role it takes on to be guide, I have no intentions on letting them break me but I must admit it is quite intimidating when you randomly get thrown in a leadership role when you are used to hiding in the group of others.

1/2 inch braided wire loom. It comes in other sizes and colors as well.

It is also offered as split. This was solid that I used.

He picked it up off of Amazon.

I've never been in the military so take what I say with a grain of salt. These recruiters are keen observers and can easily assess a recruit's weakness and they will exploit it until you overcome it. This is their molding process to make you the best Marine possible. What you are experiencing now is nothing compared to boot camp. They will break you because they have to get rid of your civilian habits and impregnate you with Marine ones.

The 1/2 solid is about the right size. Of course it will stretch. I got the idea from a few handles I received from Above the Tie a while back. They had something similar around the handles when they shipped but I could never source the material. My son came in this afternoon and laid the loom on the table and the light bulb went off.
