Well Jason, that gives me some background story and I'm glad something good has come from my failure on the NB. 2 other good things that came from it is I will NEVER ever ever ever ever do another committed NB and I'm now free to buy as I may wish. Enjoy in good health Buddy ! HIGH praise for the Game Changer (I enjoy mine occasionally too). Great shave Joseph !
Awesome photo Jason. Congrats on the new razor. The Karve D plate for me was almost automatic from the first day. Wonderful photos and shave report Joseph. The AOS cream must be on the ropes.
A very informative post on the razor, Dave. I also found the close up of the brush interesting as well- I like seeing how skilled some folks are with embedding 'stuff' in clear resins. Very cool.
The storm must have eased up if you are back at school, Joe. Hope the commute to and fro is uneventful. A great sounding shave, and that JR brush is very nice- classic lines for sure.
That pic shows the adapter your 'friend of a friend's friend' made, Pierpaolo. Very detailed turning for sure. Your music choices are so very eclectic. Spandau Ballet to John Coltrane in one week...
Good point on the blades, Dave. I look forward to seeing your 'pet peeve' list a la Joseph. I haven't drafted a list of my own yet, but right at the top of it will be soap tubs that are too small and aftershave bottles without decent restrictors...
Wonderful Wednesday shave Danny! Ever time you use the Parker shavette it gets better. It will become second nature.
What focus! Right back to the AOS after using the new soap. Impressive, Clint! Looking at how awesome that combo looks, I'm surprised more artisan razor makers don't have matching brushes.
Congrats on the Parker shave, Danny! Taking the point off the corner of the blade seems like a great idea and saved you a little red. Fwiw, it is colder there in Alabama than it is in the Canadian Rockies this morning.
Doug! Great to hear from you and always love your outdoor shots. Getting ready for golf season already? Fantastic. I bought a new Driver and new Irons for the first time in forever. C'mon Spring!
The GC is your favourite DE? High praise indeed, Joseph. I really like mine as well, but don't think I've ever felt while using it that it was 'the best I've got'. I will give it a run after the Karve for kicks and giggles.
Thank you Jason, I just want some soaps gone. I really like AOS creams so its not a chore to finish one. I am happy I bought the matching brush. I do wish it were cheaper.
