Just posting an update so people know where I've been. My mom got very sick, yes it's COVID. She's doing better and out of danger now. Thanks in advance for your concern. I ended up spending time with my dad who needed my company. Last week one of my co-workers lost his dad to COVID. Other life related issues puts me the only person on my 4 person team, who's working full time. I'm basically alone for 2 more weeks. I learned this week, that even after being a manager for 3 years, I can still do real work. I hope no one finds out.

I have 19 brushes shaped and I've built my large analyzing tank. I hope to make good progress soon. I'm also aware of a number of PM's I'll respond to this week.

Face Lather.
Lather : Nivea Men Body Shaving Stick.
Blade : Wilkinson Sword. (1)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium. (TTO)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Another wonderful performance from the Nivea Men trio, It's been some time since i last used the Wilkinson sword Classic blades and forgot what a good balance of sharpness and smoothness you get from them. They definitely are not as sharp as the Indian & Chinese Gillette WS, but they perform with enough efficient & smoothness with good acceptable shaving results.
The Wilkinson Sword razor & blade duo)worked well together mowing through my stubble with ease providing great audio feedback telling me its' cutting through my stubble.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable/near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with small dollop of Nivea Men Creme.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

SOTD SATURDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 6, 2021

Up very early for our 14 hour drive to TN. Took my time and enjoyed my mug shave with the R. Saito SK3 7/8. According to Worthpoint, the “razor was designed by Ryuichi Saito, the personal barber of the Japanese Imperial family. This smiling blade was created to provide an extra comfortable and luxurious shaving experience. The fit and finish is top class. This is a razor that combines the best of aesthetic design and high performance.” My mug shave this morning certainly reaffirmed the assessment.

My favorite vintage Schick is the E Type, a highly efficient safety razor that never fails to deliver an excellent dome shave. Loaded with a Schick Proline B-20, it swept away my dome stubble, leaving me with an awesomely close velveteen shave. The Viking Silvertip Badger worked its particular magic by whipping up the two types of MWF lather I enjoy for my shaves. I feel clean, refreshed and dolphin smooth!

BLADE: Schick Proline B-20 Injector
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Pre de Provence Bergamot & Thyme AS Balm.
