February 7 Parker SRX Gillette Silver Blue (2) 30 Day Crew LE Poculi handle w/28 mm APShaveCo SynBad flat top knot Tabac soap in the Philly Container Alum, Witch hazel, USB, Almond oil, CC Bay Rum AS & Aramis Tobacco Reserve Eau de Parfum The fourth shave of the Parker SRX / Tabac mini-focus was the best so far. Two plus passes on almost two days of growth yielded a comfortable near-BBS result with nary a drop of blood spilt. I continue to feel some warmth from the alum, indicating I need to work on my light touch. Overall, I'm very pleased with the shave. I'll revisit the Parker SRX after a few shaves with my R41 beginning tomorrow. We just got a dusting of snow last night. The sun has been bright today, and we welcome that anytime during the winter. No Vitamin D absorption today, so I may take a ride on my indoor bike later this evening. I hope you all are having a restful Sunday. If you're shoveling snow, please be careful not to overexert and consider relocating to someplace decent. Hallmark or PBS will likely win over the Super Bowl 'round here this evening. Grace and Peace.
In Massachusetts, March is "In like a lion, Out like that same cat". (In like a lion, out like a lamb, is the regular persuasion).
Already long finished, Joe! Thanks for the thought, but I always do. My uncle died at about my age from an MI from shoveling snow.
Going from spaghetti sauce to a concept called "Shaving"..................I'm setting a goal for myself to finish one soap, possibly two, by my birthday(the event that kicks off MAYhem here). It won't be a Stoylin-those last too long for goal-setting.
Take your time, Bill! I'm in no rush! I really like the shave on that little Simmons. I'll be interested in your thoughts.
It's particularly hard for her. She was quite close to her step-father who returned the feelings. In fact he made her his executor over his own biological kids. Everything she goes through brings up memories and lots of sadness at this point. She'll get through it. I only knew him for five years, but really liked the him. He was a real stand-up guy! Former mayor of his community and very well liked here in town. It's tough with a lot of his friends coming over, who, this being heavy duty Trump country and don't believe in masks or the pandemic and are offended by our unwillingness to come outside and hug etc. She's that cold Yankee from PA. Go figure! If they only knew!

In Canada , we watch hockey or we watch hockey with Tim Hortons or Molson Canadan beer commercials in between. Period. That's all the federal regulators allow to be broadcast during the winter months here eh!
