Nice you got a later model chrome beard buster Type I. I hope you aren't bidding against me on some other injectors I want so I can update my dummies guide. If you are I am going to make you pay the wife is going to throwyou out of the house price when she finds out what you paid for them once the real bidding starts.
Yesterday I placed an order for the Carbon Shave Co CX 316L stainless steel razor I bought with casino winnings from that morning. They gave me free shipping and shipped it same day. I can’t wait to try it out. I went with their original baseplate of .68 and the R2 316L handle.
Thanks. I'll do my best not to bid against you, I tend to bow out early as I set my $ limits in the "bargain price" zone. On the other hand if it's for a G2 Christmas set then.... I really want one of those . HA! I already get the eye roll from the wife as well as the mailman with each package these days.
What's the penguin national anthem....the Russian national anthem in reverse? (No offense meant, I love that national anthem).
Thankfully it is not a G2 and if you don't cost me too much on the razors assuming it is you that also bid on it I might even sell them to you later on at cost since I know you are a Schick aficionado. I don't think I'll be keeping them long term once I am able to do my comparisons for the guide write ups.
@clint64 If this is the Lather Catcher off DFS, I don;t think it's called a 1912 ?? If I saw the LC, I would have got it........NICE
Managed to snag the 2 injectors I wanted for the dummies guide. The one I was really interested in was the Type L with the black handle that has the same razor head as the Schick Grip.
Cool find. I didn't even see that listing, so it wasn't me bidding against you on that one. Are the teeth on those the same as on the yellow easy riders?
Yes but the razor heads are stamped differently. That black handle Type L with the teeth I've seen before but only sold by Japanese sellers so I always assumed it was made specifically for the Japanese market. You can't see it from the pictures but it has a US patent number on it so that usually means it was produced to be sold in the US even if it was also sold in foreign markets. Schick Grip also has the same patent number stamped on it so there is a good chance they are the same razor with different handles. Whether both are the same as an Easy Rider is unknown to me.
