Awesome pair of razors. Congratulations. I love using antiques. Shaving with a razor from 1805 would be such a great experience. Made in the time Lewis and Clark were coming in first contact with the Mandans, the Sioux Nation, the Nes Perce, and discovering the pass to the Pacific. You have an Outstanding piece of history.
One of the makers I keep one eye out for if a nice one comes along... Maher & Grosh I haven’t seen Mike (@M14Shooter) around, but he had a beautiful example of this razor. The Famous Toledo Blade... and who doesn’t need some Radium Steel in their life?!?!? These intricate scales are always a little pain to get some of the grunge out. Toothbrush and dental picks are my method of choice. Happy hunting. Tom
