  1. You’re better off without him. He was probably fired for being unresponsive to patients as he was with you. That is the one thing medical mgmt doesn’t tolerate! You’re better off with a doctor who gets back to you!

  2. You stated the very reason I sold my Oren, Dave! Just too bulky and ungainly to shave with! I too had the Nano version. I decided to sell it after my first shave with the Vector.
  3. Excellent shave Dave! I agree the head is bulky. It's amazing that you got a good shave from it. Have a good day.

  5. Thanks, Danny! Thus far everything is moving forward slowly. May have some good news to share tomorrow. I’ll find out at 2:00 CST.
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but , That razor should have a Wide Load sign attached Dave . The picture could be what's deceiving me too.Is the extra metal for added weight? Theres something strangely pleasant to me about the thought of Sweet orange chilli pepper . Does it smell as good as it sounds?
  7. I could not agree more Jeff. My former doctor who just retired at 60...yup , was well loved and respected by his patients and in the community. I don't blame him for wanting to enjoy life after many stressful years as a doctor but it sure left a huge gap when he said fair well. Should be interesting to see who replaces the next guy. Doctors are on short supply around here and when you get one you almost have to keep him .
I did get some antibiotics for the sinus situation and hopefully should be back to par next week. Hope your day is going well so far :)
  8. Good post, Dave.

  9. Great photo and shave report Dave. I never tried the first model of the Occam's razor. I really like my 2nd model. For all practical purposes I learned to wet shave with a B2 Mongoose so I never noticed the bulk of the Occam's razor.

Happy Tuesday everyone. Back on the Muhle and AOS Lavender train again this morning. I decided to face lather which I enjoy much more than using a bowl. Three passes with minimal touch ups put the baby today. Unlike yesterday, today was a drama free day. I am trying to decide if I work remotely today or go into my office. Since I am more productive in the office, I will likely go in for at least part of the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

  11. Thanks Gents and Joe @Trigger I attribute the better shave to using the Feather SUPER blade which gave more exposure of the blade.
Patrick @9nein9 it's a darker/dirtier Orange scent. Pairs perfectly with the TDH and I fear it will kill my bottles which is why I've used some other splashes etc to mix it up.
  12. Great shave Clint, have a great day

  15. Great shave Clint. Which handle do you have in the R102? Looks like a beautiful sunny day there. Part of the day in the office sounds like a good plan to me . Enjoy the sun :)

SOTD TUESDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 9, 2021

Well day three of the trip to Tennessee continues. Sorry for the sameness of the photo staging, but I’m working with limited kit. The shave today was every bit as good as yesterday’s. My mug shave featured the Dubl Duck Goldedge 11/16 and the Supply V2, fitted with a Schick Twinjector, served as my noggin shaving tool. The A&E Kaizen lather worked well with my mini Kent Infinity travel brush. The lather was slick and served its purpose to deliver another fine shave - two passes for the dome and my usual three for the mug. I feel clean, cool, refreshed and velveteen smooth.

RAZOR: Dubl Duck Goldedge 11/16 (Mug), SS Supply V2 (Dome)
    BLADE: Schick Injector II
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: Kent Infinity Silvertex
    CROAP: A&E Kaizen
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

  20. Thank you Patrick. I bought the handle as part of lot I purchased on Damn Fine Shave. I really don't recall the maker but I am sure its one of the makers in Russia. We are back to rain and overcast days for the remainder of the week. I took the opportunity Sunday afternoon while the sun was out to take the photos for the week
