Glad to hear, Patrick! I wish you a swift return from your sinus troubles! I’m still treating mine! Enjoy your day and stay safe!
February 9th DSCosmetic Z0 w Astra SP (2) Simpson Sovereign (T2) / Resin Barrister’s Reserve Cool Thayers Booster Polar Ice AS Another good shave with the ‘13 R41 clone. Everything worked as it should and I am quite smooth again with this shaver. This soap has definitely benefited from regular use, it is pretty much all the way back (besides load amount) to where it used to be. I was going to finish with the iced Florida Water, but as it is -22C here (ridiculous!) and I had to walk the dogs, I eschewed it and went with the Polar Ice instead. It isn’t that polar and even with a bit of added menthol, isn’t that icy. Have a great day all!
Well, the Wilkinson Sword blade made a big difference all right. A better blade for the Red Tip than the Astra...for me, anyway. I did have to go "easy" on it to avoid cuts, which did happen once. I was able to go through an entire pass with it, and a little bit of the second, before switching back to the disposeABLE. I had Stoylin Sandpiper(soap&A.S.) for my main items. Now I kmow what to expect when I shave tomorrow. That's 2 things I'm focusing on together-achieving a sense of comfort with the Red Tip, and improving my lathering. Most Excellent.
Oltre un'eccellente rasatura (Beyond excellent shave) Patrick. Congratulations on your first shae with the Fatip Piccolo SE
Thanks Charlie.....as I keep progressing, I may try different blades to see what is most comfortable AND works best. I was taken aback by the sharpness of Wilkinson Sword, but it's a great blade for cutting back on pressure.
