  2. It's easy when you're a young 65 yr old buck like you, but believe me when I say that exercise effectiveness from your age to mine decreases not arithmetically, but geometrically! ;)

  3. How about trigonometry or exponentially?

You are not deterring my Beast Mode of a friend are you?

  4. That's true, but there are almost 180,000 in front of me back home. We'll be flying back for our second shot in one month since our immunity will have kicked in by that point. :transport015: We did just receive our Moderna vaccinations. All is right with the world, my friend! :happy108:

  6. Despite the sad situation, we were able to step in and receive the allocation for my father and mother in-laws, both of whom are recently deceased. We've received the first shot and will be flying back in a month, once our immunity has kicked in for the second. :happy108:

  9. Heck no, science teach, I was merely commenting on chronological realities. Trig has no reference here, as I was contrasting an arithmetic (i.e. additive) process vs a geometric (multiplicative). What can I say, that engineering education sticks with you, even at my decrepit stage of life! :happy088:

  18. SOTD 2/9/21

    Stirling Glacial Black Cherry Soap
    Stirling Tuxedo Brush
    Simmons Hardware 4/8
    Stirling Lime AS Splash w/menthol

This razor comes to me for a test drive from The City of Brotherly Love, also known for; cheesesteak subs, Tastykake snack foods, guys that sell brown paper bags of soft pretzels on street corners, and a colonial era printer whose image is on (oddly enough) the world’s favorite counterfeit US currency.

My first impression of this tool by the crude thumb pad test was that aggressiveness was lower than my preferences. I almost elected to not publicly report this for fear of offending my good friend Jeff who generously shared with me a piece he really likes.

These smaller razors with aggressive edges have the capacity to Nefretiriously punish operator errors, so I proceeded with caution.

I committed to my normal shave habits and found a quite smooth operator capable of delivering my top priority, a comfortable shave.

I did my normal 3.5 pass routine, then added another full ATG pass for a close comfortable finish that straights have the reputation of giving.

In the world of shaving, individual preferences vary like waves of the sea. Straight razor shaving and honing are acute examples of this.

Using the principles of the 30DC philosophy encouraging one to adjust their techniques to accommodate the tools, I did find going through my shave that the use of varied pressure and shave angle delivered a most comfortable result. I can easily see why Jeff likes this razor.

I’ll give this one another run before it heads for home.

An interesting thing caught my eye on the photo. A close look appears to reveal the remnant of a decorative script from days gone by.

I looked under a glass and can faintly make out what appears to say ‘Easy Shaver’. @jgreenepa Jeff, your edgework is certainly worthy of that inscription.
