  12. Feb 10th SOTD

    Good morning guys!

    Mühle R102
    Feather DE Blade (2)
C-Mon Heritage Super HD Badger Brush
    Stirling Glastonbury SS and AS
    Dickenson's WH (not pictured)
Nivea for Men ASB (not pictured)
    Whiskers: 40hrs

I have decided to use the Mühle for the rest of the week. I decided to use my makeshift scuttle to make the lather once again. My C-Mon brush never fails to give me an awesome lather. The lather was real creamy, shiny and thick in preparation for the R102.
I could have called it a day after one pass, but two passes is what I call a real shave for me. The BBS train rolled in on time, but Mr. Creeper arrived late to catch the train. Yes, I was done with the shave, but a creeper showed up on my lower right neck. It was no biggie. Styptic took care of it. Finished my usual postshave routine. For the next 2 shaves, I am going to replace the handle and use the Rockwell 6C handle in conjunction with the R 102. Have an awesome day gentlemen! 20210209_170719.jpg
  13. Yikes. I think I'll keep the -4F and crystal clear skies here instead...
  14. Unless you are the lead dog the view never changes...

  16. Sounds like very good results, Patrick. It appears that this comb is better for you out of the box. Congrats. Are you sure about your growth patterns on both sides? Maybe n to s is xtg on one side and not the other.
  17. Nice shave, Joe. I see both you and Jim have brought out the Nordost lately. Smoky Orange...any similarity to TdH?
    Stay safe on the roads...
  18. What a shave! A few of my faves there as well- I have long opined that the New LC is Gillette's finest pour moi. The SynBad is a really good knot as well, especially in the larger sizes. I might have to grab my one remaining tuck of Spoilers as well.
  19. Yes, using that Muhle for the rest of the week is probably a good idea...really get it dialed in. Sorry about the red...anything that takes a Styptic to stop is probably as rare for you as it is for most. Love that Heritage as well, of course.
  20. Thanks Jason. I grew it out and took pics for reference. That was way back when . I should revisit the pics now that I know what I'm doing and understand what I'm looking for .
