Took a walk on the darker side today with Barrister and Mann Lavanille soap and Aftershave. Since it's a thirstier soap I used the big Bruce to lather and the Gillette Slim Adjustable to shave.
DE SOTD, Thur, Feb 11th 2021 Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72 - MFG 2021, Excellent mid range, well made and designed, great DE for under the nose, great for detailing, very happy with this Daily driver for my beard type. Blade: Gillette Nacet (1) Excellent blade, Sharp & smooth, uncoated?, Soap: Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore, nice scent with mild tobacco and vanilla, excellent lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi lucky dice tuxedo knot 26 mm- excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, good scrubber + lather painter. Pre shave: Brush was my face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore + Nivea balm. (-35C,34 humidty indoors, very dry) Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my RR 2nd Gen Lupo.72 & Gillette Nacet blade. Have some great shaves!
