    Good morning!

Busy morning that started with an awesome shave! Three passes for near BBS and completely silent alum.

I made the wife and I breakfast to start. We eat low carb so our breakfasts normally consist of meat and eggs. I found a hashbrown recipe that substitutes shredded cabbage for the potatoes. I was skeptical, cabbage for breakfast? Well they were delicious! Cabbage will be a regular addition to our grocery lists.

I enjoy cooking and it's going to nice to have the extra time to explore the different options out there.

Speaking of having extra time, I'm still nervous about retiring. We had a call with our financial advisor this morning to discuss rearranging assets and disbursements. I always feel better after talking to her. Unfortunately the feeling only lasts about an hour before the second guessing starts to creep in again. It'll be good. It'll be good. It'll be good. I hope.

We had a light skiff of snow last night. I was able to clean it up quickly and easily with the leaf blower. Note to self, check wind direction before starting next time. Extremely cold out, only 1°F while I was sweeping the walks. Great day to stay inside.

Have a great day my friends!

Yeah, we should be fine. Just such a big change doubt still creeps in.

  16. Awesome Fougère Friday setup and shave Jim. Cooking is FUN! You'll have tons of time for indulging that newfound hobby. Don't worry too much on the retirement thing, plenty to keep ya busy, and like Clint said there's always the option for contract work. I've known many who do that after the daily grind, and are much happier as a result.
  17. Great shave and breakfast sounds Awesome !! You'll be fine !!!!........................................{Dave rushes to the Marketplace, pulls up a chair and awaits the fire sale from Jim} :eatdrink013:

  19. Thank you, Blair!

I love cooking. Sous Vide is a new found method for me. I now have two precision cookers and three tanks in assorted sizes. I can do a couple of steaks in the small tank up to several racks of ribs or a packer cut brisket in the large tank. Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
