Sent an email. See what happens tomorrow Joe. Very nice Paul. Great shave Joe. Thanks Joe . I loved that razor . I'll soon find out
I am not sure if its still made in chrome or not. I just recall reading something about the finish on Badger & Blade a couple of years back.
February 14th Razor: Timeless .95 SC Blade: Feather NHS (2) Brush: Maseto Finest 30mm Pre-shave: PAA Cube Soap: B&M Ravish PAA Galactic Witch Hazel B&M Unscented Balm AS: B&M Ravish Awesome shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum. I'm heading out to shovel the walks. Woke up to eight below this morning. It has warmed to three below. Not a lot of snow so it should go quick. Have a great day! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks Joe and you enjoy yours as well! Great shave Joe and I'm enjoying seeing how the test goes with these soaps. Sorry about the scales and hope you can get it sorted out without too much difficulty. Somebody say steak! Love the glass as well.
February 14, 2021 Tatara Nodachi Feather Shavemac Synthetic AOS Lavender Shave Cream Fine Lavender Pour Homme Aftershave Decided to go back and reevaluate the Nodachi compared to the Karve F plate. I find it funny how ones perception can be different than the actual measurements. If I were asked which razor had more blade feel, I would have picked the Nodachi. I would be wrong by the numbers. The Nodachi has a blade gap of 0.90mm and blade exposure of 0.13mm. The Karve F plate has a blade gap of 1.23 mm with a blade exposure of 0.22mm. By the numbers the Nodachi should be combination of the Karve C & D plates. The shave today was much better than my last outing with the Nodachi. Three passes and touch ups tucked the baby in for the day. I did get a couple of weepers. I will stick with the Nodachi for a few more days. I absolutely love the design and craftsmanship of the razor and want it to stay in the den. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Been researching and you are right . Also had alignment issues in earlier models too I read. Thank you! Very interesting Clint. You would think the Karve would have more blade feel for sure . Maybe they padded the numbers .
