What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

@Karl G - I really don’t like big wide razors, but for some reason I really like that one! This is a good thing about SRs I think, you can have your mind made up as to what you like, after 10 yrs or more, and then something like Karl’s razor challenges my thinking. Tip of the hat Karl!

I’m with you there... both ends of the spectrum with some of that.

 

Funny you should say that. I was always a 6/8ths or so kind of guy and thought those big blades had to be awkward. Turns out I really like them. They handle much better than I expected and shave really well.

I have Honed Loads of these Ti Razors & they are Finished Very Well from the Factory in the Bevel Area..The Steel is Great..Brilliant Razors..I Find Em Easy to Hone & they Take a Superb Shaving Edge..Folks that have Problems with a Razor this Quality Clearly Dont Know whay they are Doing..

Aye ..They are Lovely Shavers & Hone Friendly..Mine is Marked as a 6/8th..But it Measures a Full 7/8th Not Including the Spine..Many Solingen Blades are Very Generious Sized,,

Catching up a little here, bith days 14s, Grelot and Filarmonica....

 

Fine shave with one of my older John & William Ragg near wedges. The Castle Forbes 1445 makes a rich lather and has a wonderful scent - hard to describe but I really like it.
