Talc, when inhaled can lead to mesothelioma. Now that would be in great quantities and perpetual usage. It can also cause cancer, as some women like to sprinkle talc in their undies. It can get in the blood stream. Will a sprinkle of talc used occasionally be dangerous? Probably not. You can purchase talcum free powder. Me...I just eschew it altogether.

I know of no other soaps that are (were) manufactured by Valobra.

Mid morning shave following the intense X3Bar workout, late afternoon post. I am trying to play catch up with all of the post from late evening and today.

Today was my third shave of the test batch from Lakewood soaps. The shave featured the Blue tub. Once again, I used the Japanese straight which delivered a phenomenal shave. Regarding the soap, the base is another slick, subtle Barber scent. All three of the bases easily will provide the cushion and slick feel that will allow the blade to easily slide over the shaving surface. Whichever base is selected by the group of testers, you can be assured that it will be a quality product.
Since I had left over soap after the third pass, I incorporated a fourth pass a la Keith, @Keithmax, which has left my face in the BBS category.
