I am amazed at the design work and attention to detail that goes into making some of these razors. I find it actually kind of cool. Plus you get to use a working piece of art.

We're coming out of a run similar to that but it was in Fahrenheit. We actually hit 40°F today and it felt nice while the sun was shining. It didn't last long before the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up. For awhile there I was out in a t-shirt preparing the grill for the new griddle top. Unfortunately it showed up to late for anything more than a test fit. I'm so anxious to get it seasoned and start cooking on it. Here's a picture along with the cast iron griddle I was using for a size comparison.

Thanks Jason. I was done with winter before it got started. I continue to wear short pants and t-shirts in protest when I'm inside. We expect some melting this weekend after the next storm on Wed/Thu. I keep my driveway clear enough to take my Bride to a Thursday medical appointment...provided it is not rescheduled due to the weather. Otherwise, we're hunkered down.

On the bright side, I visited with my neighbor yesterday while we shoveled snow. He may be interested in traditional shaving. I offered him the beautiful NEW SC you sent me along with a brush, blades and a puck of soap. I plan to package a few things up for him.
